Film London
Sector: Creative Industries / Public Policy
Themes: Location rights, synthetic media, industry-specific AI safeguards
Film London sought legal protections against the unauthorised use of physical locations in AI-generated content. With increased concern around digital replicas and model training derived from on-location shoots, there was a pressing need to update location agreements and production guidance.
I developed AI-specific contractual language and contributed to the drafting of a sector-facing Code of Practice. The new provisions addressed digital capture, third-party tool use, training data restrictions, and ethical use standards—providing clarity and enforceability across varied production contexts.
The framework now serves as a model for other institutions seeking to align creative access with emerging digital risks, supporting cultural heritage and institutional trust in an age of generative content.
